Community Outreach Volunteers (COV) are female youth peers trained and supported as frontline service providers for community DREAMS intervention. They collaborate with the DREAMS ambassadors, Champions and HF- DREAMS Focal persons to ensure a comprehensive package of services and facilitate bi-directional referral services and thus strengthening linkage.

Recruited COVs receive Foundation training to equip them with knowledge and skills for community entry and mobilization, group enrolment, group facilitation and mentorship on the DREAMS package.  Pictured here are recruited COV demonstrating condom use during a foundation training in COV foundation training session in Muleba district – Kagera Region.
